I really love Oswald as the villain. He's a complete dork and he monologues and he falls into the classic villain blunders, but I love him. Steve and Tony's reactions to him were priceless (and Tony's aside of "I used to like blowing shit up, didn't I?" is perfect).
I just adore this whole scenario--Steve coming back and having no clue what's going on, Tony with amnesia, and they're thrown together and it's time for them to literally and figuratively sink or swim, and they pull it together. You didn't make it easy for them, which I love; they still have some talking to do, even after Tony's memories are back, and I like that a lot.
And the last scene is so satisfying, and you paint the image so well: Tony with his hunched shoulders and Steve tired of waiting. This was a lovely read.

I had originally had him drop in a skip on the Isle of Dogs, but decided there just weren't that many Doctor Who fans about. -g-
Slightly angsty wacky adventures are my favourite things. It's nice to find the perfect fandom for that. I may have swept a lot of issues under the carpet (and ignored large chunks of canon), so it was easier for them to get on.

(raises hand sheepishly) I may be the only person in the world who thinks this, but the Y-incision scars from the autopsy? Was a hot little detail. You may now inch uncomfortably away from me now.
I loved the pacing and the voice you used in this whole thing. It read like something from the classic era, which is such a lovely and striking contrast to "Doom Doom Angst Angst Woe Woe WORLD GO SUCKY NOW" that we're getting in canon. The mind control fish, the cracked out villain who doesn't even know the meaning of his own name, Tony's reactions to his own past ("Tony contemplated the shift of muscles in Steve's back and shoulders for a moment, and concluded that his former self probably was crazy.")-pure gold. It was just amazingly laid out. I especially liked the ending, with it not quite tied up in the way that comics never really tie up, but definitely ( ... )

I think most everyone else is creeped out my the scars, but it's the Internet, and you're entitled to your kinks -g-
I am still glad that you like my story and it's tone. I probably couldn't write Doom and Gloom Angst to save my life, and enjoy humour much more. I like old comics or MA a lot better.
