I love this opening. Love it love it love it. I don't know what it is about Steve's monologue at the voicemail, but it really works to establish a mood.

The ending surprised me. (Well, not the ending but that's because I skipped forward to the last few paragraphs ¬o¬, but the resolution did.) I totally expected it to be a false twist, and voila, I was wrong! Well played. :D In connection to that, THIS just kills me now. "Whoever it is, they really hate me. Unselfishly. Making me miserable is worth more to them than personal gain." Even though they're probably not connected, it's still... Oh, Tony. D:

It sort of broke my heart, reading how Tony had been systematically distancing himself from everyone and everything. D: It's just... he needs to be wrapped up in blankets and cuddled so much.

I admit that my favorite part were the three Asgardian knuckleheads vistors, and Thor's way of handling them. I giggled so much.

This was like a round of of everything awesome about the Avengers, condensed and thrown at the current mess. Much,
