Okay. I've read this a couple of times already. And let me tell you, it's great.

But I do bealive I found a couple of typos.

Luke shook off two struggling shoulders I think you meaned soldiers.

Go and round up some people to start hunting through the building, see if we can't find the hostages. Isn't it can?

It's all I could find.

Anyway. I wanted to tell you that, even if the concept isn't really my thing, you got the story so well detailed and interesting it had me hanging to the edge of my seat everytime I read it.

And yes, shoulders should indeed be soldiers. The "can't" line is a Southernism, maybe? We say things like that a lot where I'm from--like, "Let's see if we can't round up some dessert" or "Let's see if we can't get that taken care of." Grammatically speaking it's completely opposite to what it means, so I can see how that would generate some confusion.
