I taught myself basic knit and purl stitches today. I don't think I'll ever like knitting as much as crochet, but whatever. At least now I can say that I know how to knit. Now I just need to learn how to fix my mistakes... Also, I think I've done permanent damage to my thumbs from all the crocheting I've been doing over break.

Finished with classes! Finally! Going to Portsmouth to do a little prep work for next quarter. I would like to get everything finished for the first week of classes. If I don't, it will loom in my mind all break long. So, I figure I'll get myself all set up for going back to school and then just kick it until January 3.

Everything is fine! Without going into specifics, I had a biopsy today and it was a total piece of cake. I didn't even feel it (though I'm kinda feeling it right now). So, unless some crazy results come back from the lab, I'm good to go until next year's check-up!

I have to go to the doctor and it's snowing. For those who don't know, going to the doctor and driving in the snow are probably the two things I hate most in this world. Send me all the good vibes you can today.

Wow, it was cold in my apartment last night. So, today I got one of those little heater fans. Just to take the bite out of the air. See, our landlord controls our heat... and also pays for it, so I'm not going to complain. Last year they upgraded from gas to electric.
