Bucky fell off the train - and Steve?

Steve jumped right after him.

I am a complete sucker for happy endings, but I can see this one not being able to end that way. So make it sweet and fluffy or make it sad and depressing; I am very okay with getting my heart ripped out. I would just love to see this scenario explored.

There's no way I've got time to fill this, and I haven't got reference and...and...
And I might end up doing a raw sketchy art fill, OP. I hope that's all right ;_;

Okay, for better or worse.... I did it. X3

Warning for rushed art&coloring, extreme sappiness, and (implied) character death (I mean, either that, or General Karpov gets to play with *two* Winter Soldiers lucky him). Also. I apologixe for Steve's shojo tear. It kind of... fit. xD;;;

Author note: I sort of made them "revert" to their old roles for the ending (AKA: Bucky the Protector, Steve the... one getting engulfed in hugs?). it also "kind of fit" the mood I wanted to portay. :)

Awwww. *sniffle* This was so good, especially how everything in Bucky's mind revolved around Steve when he was about to die--that last line, man. That was just freaking perfect.
