Go to Edit Profile. Right under the title of Edit Profile, there are two links...click on Veiwing Options. In Viewing Options, scroll down to Navigation Strip (it'll be the third one down on the left side, after Scheme and Language). Go to number 2. Navigation strip display options: and make sure both of the boxes are unchecked.
