I am afraid too. I would never harm any of your crew, even Jayne( unless he hurts Simon or Kaylee, or tries to hurt me). Never intentionally. I know they are afraid of me, becuase they don't know what I can or can't do. Problem is, neither do I.

You are all the family I have left. Simon has told me we can't go back home, which makes me sad. I miss home. But my home is here now, as long as you let me stay.

I know having us is hard on you Captain for many reasons. Not only would the Alliace take your ship and put you in a work camp for the rest of your life, but I see all of you wondering who we are and what River is capable of.

I promise you though that I am doing everthing I can in order to help her and will do everything I can to help the crew.
