There's no A/C on Serenity. I think I have enough pressure on me without having to look more than my body weight in sweat every twenty minutes so I left to stay in a hotel until we could fix the problem. I strongly suggest you all do the same unless you wish to look like back up dancers in a bad music video

For those of us who don't know much about the hotels in these parts, can you help me out and tell me which places I should be lookin' into?

I hear that Kaylee may have found parts needed to fix it. Should be tolerable soon. You may want to save the platinum... unless you're using the heat as an excuse to be able to take a nice bath. :-)

I personally think it stresses the systems too much with all the booze we're trying to ferment through the engine. Ethanol has a different temperature coefficient than the standard coolant.

Baths... hmm. Makes me wonder if I need to pick up a hundred extra gallons of water here on the planet and construct a distillation mechanism to purify it after use.

It would probably be good enough to give someone at least one actual bath a week. May be nice having an actual real bath out in the black every couple of months.

*Ponders* You know... I haven't been soap and water cleaned since we were on Jiangyin. Not as effective but much more relaxing than the rinseless sanitizers.

I think I would like that bath, but I'm going to still see about getting the extra water. The distillation will not be difficult and can be done when we are no longer planet-side because being able to take one later would be nice too.

Then I can make sure your kindness is returned.
