Without spoiling me on Heroes, was the finale really that big a disappointment?

It didn't meet the expectation that I had after the 5 years episode. It accomplished what it set out to do in terms of resolving the central set piece, but it did so with very little in the way of fireworks... it seems like the big bangs were earlier in the season.

Five years ep? Eh, I have to watch the series. But that's too bad the finale wasn't as good. Rock on LOST!

Heroes did well for their first season, but they showed up thinking they were going to take the crown, fell on a triple axel, and then Lost said 'excuse me, I wasn't done with that'. and owned everything.

Heroes will be around for more chances though. they certainly know how to make an awesome episode, they just didn't bring it for the finale.

Yeah. I'll come back for season 2 as long as they don't magically make Sylar alive again.
