A question for prop 8 supporters...

I'm not going to question your motives or condemn you here, I just want to know how this is supposed to work.  What if someone claims to be a different sex than they really are, should we require the state government to strip us and look at our private parts before we're allowed to get married?  What about a person who has undergone a sex change

Do note: Any supporter of prop 8 that I personally know has "Lots of gay friends" and "doesn't have a problem with gays" but "believes in the sanctity of the church", which is probably the Roe vs. Wade of the church being able to co-opt primitive rituals that were performed until the watchful eyes of the sun god and about five hundred other naked people.

They might just be full of shit, but we can't release the fifty packs of Jell-O powder and the fire hose into their car until we know for sure.
