this whole political business has everybody worked up and fanatical. everyone enjoying themselves on the trash talking feast? people always say that one day ill see things their way, one day i will suddenly understand that i must be involved in politics because its what civilized people do. that one day ill abandon my own ideas and become absorbed into the muck flinging idiotic masses and listen to speeches about change...then i'll be progressive and interesting and it will prove to everyone else how smart i am, politics make you intellectual.
all those people sound like my old church.
is a man really his tattoos? is he his biceps or his abs? is a man the music he listens to, or the car he drives?
its a filthy american-human idea to brand yourself. see my bumperstickernecklacehaircolortattoo? it means im gangsterprogressivesmartbusinesssavy. real people take time to get to know, you cant look at their bumper and their arms and understand them. im guilty, im so guilty of it too. im guilty of allowing it by looking at somebody and having a gut reaction because of their hair color and pants, i categorize and ignore 99% of the people i see walk by me. im guilty and your(everyone) guilty and im pointing it out for no reason.
