let me tell you about kaiser

i hate kaiser with a passion.  however, its what my job offers and it only costs me 40 bucks a month (bcbs was costing tiayr like 250 a month for me so i had him drop me)

ANYWAY!

so monday i had an appt with the gyn to get my merry no-baby christmas present (a mirena IUS) so i take like 3 tylenol leave work excited and pensive.  i get to the kaiser

i would not recommended the iud. I had the same brand implaced during the summer and not long after developed a cyst that would not go away, grew to the size of a tennis ball and they wanted to give me a c section to remove it. they swore the iud had no effect or cause to the cyst. I had the iud taken out, started my period back and viola no more cyst. I guess it was all a coincidence but I will never have another (unless I get more proof tha tit didn't cause te cyst)

I had a cyst that burst and left a large amt. of fluid in my abdomen. I was in so much pain they took my appendix out, but when they got in there they discovered the fluid--the appendix was fine. I didn't have an IUD and wasn't on the pill at the time, either. It seems to have been just one of those sucky things. :(
