There are few things that are better than sitting under a cozy blanket with a dog on my lap, my husband to my right, and a kitty on his lap. If I could guarantee an extra hour to sleep in tomorrow, life would be perfect.

In the last 3 years, I've kept my teaching job and still have no classroom, but now we're working without a contract which is no fun. I still love my kids, and am finding that middle school rocks. They're still young enough to be goofy without looking around too much to see if others will think they're cool ( Read more... )

It's sad and slightly alarming.  If the Crocodile Hunter can't survive an encounter with a Stingray, what chance does anyone else have?  Mr. CRIKEY! was swimming with the creatures and had an unfortunate contact with a spiked tail.  No matter how much people made fun of him, he was still pretty bad-ass, so I'm sad to hear he's gone.  At least it ( Read more... )
