I think that's quite fair enough. I keep my lj f list small so that it stays a 'safe place' for me, but I have to cull on fb because it gets overwhelming.

I am the same and I did recently cut a few people and all my communities because I was finding that I wouldn't log on to read and/or I would just visit the journals of a few of my closest people and read those.
