Sigh. There is so much that I just don't understand, but I've had an extremely fortunate life other than the horrible illness. I can deal well enough with pain, but could I deal with starvation, with letting my family go hungry, with living in war-torn terror? I don't know.

But no doubt we're slated next on the witch-list, given our mysterious pains that are undoubtedly a punishment from god or the devil or evil hampsters or something. :)

There was recently a special on MSNBC called "Witch Hunt" by Sean Penn. It dealt with rounding up husbands & wives and sending them to prison for molesting children. None of the charges were true and some spent 20 years in jail for a crimes that never happened. http://www.witchhuntmovie.com/
