Our house inspection went well. Some issues came up, we negotiated a little off the closing costs to help pay for repair/electric work. Tomorrow is the loan application. I am getting tired of the whole process, and now I'm glad that we have until Aug. 31 to close, I need a rest before I start packing and all that ( Read more... )

I'm not gonna remember a lot of HP either but oh well :) I'm going to end up reading them all again for the final movie.

So were you thinking 8:30 movie at Rosedale? Or earlier? I think if we do 8:30 then I could stop in DSW for shoe shopping beforehand :)

Also did you decide on a final loan place yet? I was just curious.

I wasn't sure what times the movie was playing (probably on the half hour for the opening week I suppose). I was thinking 8-ish. Or whatever time isn't sold out.

Let's try for 8:30 because the next one after that is 10:00 and that'll be kind of late for a Wed. Not too late if it's necessary, but 8:30 would be nicer.

Oh yeah, and I think we're going with Wells Fargo for our loan, the loan officer was more helpful/responsive, and the rate and closing costs are lower. If we went with Affinity, we'd be paying the same closing costs with the 1500 from the seller included, as we are at Wells Fargo, not including the 1500 off. I was a little ticked at Affinity, because we have to add a percentage point (or more for the 80/15 loan) because we don't have 20% down...which was explained to us before.... I was hoping since I'm a MEMBER I would get the best rate...but no.
