I haven't yet seen the movie Food, Inc., but I had a weird moment of clarity in the grocery store a few days ago. I was walking by the packaged hams, hot dogs, and deli meat, and realized how gross it was to have so many animals killed (and probably mistreated) just to make mystery meat. Yeah factory farming is terrible! It was probably the worse part of photo researching the animal rights book I did. I just heard a commerical for Mississippi Market on the Current. You'll have to blog about so I'm inspired to join you.

I like your idea and am inspired! Not that anyone in Riverside sells organic stuff, but I am at least going to check out Trader Joes.
