I've got skills! heh heh...I'm just starting my 3rd week at Crate and Barrel and they're offering me a promotion to be department manager...What the heck???!!! I think that's funny...

I feel like I need to move on. Leave my home and explore other places to live. Move away from my comfort zone and be a "big girl". Obviously the job search isn't going so hot for me right now in Maryland and DC. I think I have officially gotten my mom addicted to Ebay. Ever since I've introduced her to Ebay she has constantly been telling me to bid on things. In all honesty, I'm not really complaining cuz if she ends up not liking it, guess who gets to keep it? I think I've pocketed 2 Coach bags that she ended up not liking. because it sure as hell beats going to work! I've enjoyed my past few weeks being unemployed and I'm not looking forward to going back to the "real world". Had my interview with NAEYC today. So, I had a phone interview today with NAEYC to be an accreditation coordinator and got a second interview! YAY! Of course the interview isn't until September 12th and they don't plan on hiring until the end of September so....I think I'm going to work at Crate and Barrel part-time...that would be fun...and I could get some nice discounts;) We' ( Read more... )
