... That... might have been it, come to think of it.

Think you know him?

Sounds like a prosecutor I know, yeah. Not really worth remembering him though.

I might know who you're talking about, but I can't seem to remember his name.

I usually made my own coffee, but yes, competent prosecutors generally don't have to fetch coffee for themselves.

Shouting at girls in a coffee shop--there's no excuse for behavior like that. Pathetic. No wonder she laughed.

I could recommend you some good coffee shops in the area, if you're interested.

Huh, that makes two people then, I guess. I couldn't tell if he was serious or not though.

My dad would have said something to him though, if he had been there I bet.

And I don't really drink a lot of coffee, but I know my parents like it. So that would be cool, thanks Mr. Armando.

If it's who I'm thinking of, he would have been half-serious, because he's a prosecutor, but not much of one.

I'd have said something to him, too.

I'll PM you a list of decent coffee shops, then, if you think your parents would be interested. And you never know, you might get a taste for coffee yourself someday.

I don't get why a lot of lawyers don't drink the free coffee they have for us at the office, pal. Coffee is coffee! Tastes all the same to me.

Dick!

Don't you ever say that again. You don't know what you're talking about.

The office coffee is-- Words almost fail me, but that sour water weakly flavored with the ancient ashes of burnt beans: no one should call that coffee.

But it's free, sir! Nothing beats being free! And it's the only kind I can afford anyway...

I'm not an unfeeling man. It's not that I blame you for drinking that travesty of a beverage, but don't talk about coffee like that. Every cup is not the same.

One of these days, I'll have to give you a real education on the matter.

What did I tell you, sonny? You can always pick out the bad apples by their nasty hairstyles.

He wasn't young, just so you know.

In fact, he was probably from your generation.

Ahahaha. I'm fairly sure I know who you saw, Herr Justice.

And to answer your question: the secretaries will occasionally run errands for us-- but by "us" I mean prosecutors, not janitorial staff.

That's what I had figured.

So... he's on the janitorial staff then? He didn't look like any of the prosecutors I've met recently. Er... that sounds kind of bad, but still.

Ja, ja. We cannot all be rock stars, but I don't believe that man is responsible for anything more prosecutorial than condemning the floor buffer to a life of servitude.
