Yeah, I gotta start thinking about what I want to do for CC30, too. J and I are doing our idea for the sci-fi/fantasy masquerade. But, I'm still trying to decide if I want to tackle something for the historical again or not. Byzantine has a lot of appeal, though doing a full-on historically accurate Arlicchina would probably be more up my alley... hmmm...

See, my problem is I get delusions of grandeur for historical, and then run out of time to complete anything. I'm going to focus on one and IF I have time, I'll think about the other.

I should go look and see what other contests are being held, if they have info up for them yet. I know the masq info is up for both.

Not sure what we're doing for CC30, I do believe that we're on the docket for 'Let My People Go' again, which means we'll be stuck at master if it manages to win at CC. There's also talk about Addam's Family as well so...yeah, not sure.

Don't suppose we could interest you in something historical? Incan Festival? Or maybe Bhutan Nation Costumes?

As to your Dark Paladin thing...I might be interested in taking part in that if you need a body for it.

hey hey hey...the more jobs I have to pick up to make ends meet, the less time there is to manage you know.

Any ideas on what that body could be doing? I seriously have NO idea. I've already done "reveal the monster" with Black Chaos, and it would take some serious work to find someone(s) to build and operate a friggin Blue Eyes Ultimate to re-create the end of the Kaiba vs Yami duel. And like I said, I'm not making someone build a Buster Blader to do a fusion skit. I don't even like Buster Blader, I just have one to make a DP.

That is a nice point about game fandoms. It's easy to pick things back up again. I tend to do that with fic, although I can certainly see how it'd be entirely beneficial for something as complicated as costuming. Either way, good luck with all the projects!

Yeah, I wondered about that. I mean, granted, with series or movies you can just watch it again, but games take a new playthrough - or in some cases, just level-grinding for a few hours and boom, the love is back.

You never seem to have that problem, though. XD SO MUCH LOVE ALL THE TIME.
