I stopped watching the news after Thanksgiving. I didn't want anything to harsh my Christmas buzz.
Christmas is over, and I can't figure out why I should start watching the news again.
What will it accomplish? Being informed? What does that matter?

It's a fair point. I have cut back some myself but with congress returning tomorrow I will be watching CSpan to see if they can manage to accomplish a speaker vote in a reasonable amount of time. I do scream into the void on Facebook some, but it's mostly so the people who are about to be most affected know that I am writing my congressional people about the things coming up for votes etc. I assume by now the trumpers that are still around from my HS and college years aren't paying attention to anything I say, but who knows, maybe at some point they'll at least realize what they have been supporting even if they never publicly admit it.
I'm being overly optimistic about that but I can't help myself.
