Friends sometimes know best

I had a rant this morning. It was a well-formulated, emotion-inducing blurb, but it was still a rant. Although no proper names were used, most of my friends knew what it was about. But, then my friend commented on it. He didn't criticize or get angry, but politely reminded me that this rant would remain forever. The bridge would remain burned ( Read more... )

Thanks for deleting your rant. I'm sorry for the harsh words I said on IRC the other day. I was finding the conversation difficult, and I did over-react. My apologies. As you've said, I can't go back and remove them, so the best I can do is apologize and try not to react in a similar matter again.

Being humans, we are sometimes prone to over-emote. Obviously, we both did just that. I tried to condone mine as a response, instead of a reaction, but it was still just a mean way of trying to save face.

But your apology, has shown the true strength I was hoping you possessed, and so I humbly accept and offer my hand in the name of truce and hope we can become better acquainted in the future.

Perhaps over a game of World of Warcraft? I still have not checked it out, but the desire is there.
