Weird day as per usual...

Oct 14, 2005 01:31

Well today is Thursday, or rather was Thursday; a day I have decided to dub Super Sweeney day, in honor of the professor who is able to put up with me for almost 5 hours in one day:D. Anyways, as is usual for me on these days I find myself to be introspective. While I realize I am normally in an introspective state, this is more of a giddy ( Read more... )

hot damn that was long!!! your roommate is depression too? I thought I was the only one.
As much as you may want to get high, please try not to. Even if it is just once a year. It aint worth it. It'll only lead to worse things. I have that urge all the time, but I know I'm better than that, even if it may be fun at the time.

As depressed as I kinda am now, I try to keep myself occupied with music, and well, being a CD-ripping and buying whore (I stepped up a notch).

Hope to see you soon!! OH yes! Hair dyeage possible for next week. I'll keep you posted

I thought Depression was a 'her'. She sees me on a regular basis, along with her best frined, Lonelyness.

....

Although, if Depression is a he... that would explain how he and Lonelyness got married after they eloped to Texas for the wedding. Depression has very effemiate features for a guy. Too much anime if you ask me.

But if he's visting both you and Chris then he is TOTALLY cheating on me! Deppression is supposed to be an individual visitor! I demand a refund on my psychiatrist visits! *pift* bunch of no good rotten *grumble grumble*....

;P

Cheers!

actually, like God, depression is neither a him or a her. rather depression is seen as we want to see it. also, depression figured out cloning so that is why depression is able to visit/live with all of us simutaneously

The Friends of Voltaire, written by Evelyn Beatrice Hall under the pen name Stephen G. Tallentyre. It is commonly attribute to Voltaire, which is why I was sure I knew it but couldn't place my finger on whose quote it was. Hall is a fairly obscure name, but her quote, which was intented as a summary of Volatiare's stance, has carried on, being as catchy as it is. Now give me my cookies. :P Also, you and I need to have along talk about depression sometime. Finally, sorry for not actually checking up on LJ for so very long.

Also, I somewhat cheated to give the answer above. I remembered after some time it was written in some review of Voltaire and was not written by Voltaire himself, but I had to check up on my old notes to remember exactly who wrote it and would probably not have been or be able to give you the same information off the top of my head.
