Hi, I was looking for a way to use the dub connectors on my Sony SP machine to the Panasonic AG series. Found your article on it. Thanks, I'm going to try. Your question about the MII machines. They already did have YC connectors (in and out) apart from the component connectors. Great machines, but too late for the battle against Betacam in those days.
From your description I'm assuming you're planning to connect a U-Matic family machine to a VHS family machine; keep in mind you need a transcoder to change the chroma frequency. Hi, do you know where I can buy a DUB 7-in-male-connector for my u-matic recorder and adapt it to RCA or S-video? I've been looking all over for this type of adapter but it seems nowhere to be found. Please advise. Thank you.
