[Already his gun is out as he keeps pace behind Basch. No use being a gunner if he rushes in first but he has ready a cure spell if Basch gets hurt.]

[And he charges in, though he's wary of the Chocobos. In their rage they're fighting to free their comrade who's being chomped on by Hol, another Chocobo already lies dead off to the side.]

Enough, fiend! You have caused enough trouble!

[He roars as he swings his blade, striking at the malice beast. It's not impressed with being outnumbered like this, and drops it's would be meal, snorting and trying to kick out. Basch dodges and steps back, finding he's having a bit of a time trying to fight with the Chocobos around... even if they are fighting the same foe.]

[Amused, he circles, looking for a good opening. He doesn't want to accidentally shoot basch]

He was totally just there and left not too long ago. Oh yeah, Zack was dropping the cow he had killed there in the street and turning back to go help. ]

[The more the merrier in this little fight. You'll be greeted with eight Chocobos swarming malice beast Hol, a Basch some where in the forest of feathers, and a Balthier standing back with his magic and gun ready.]

Oh I'd hardly call it trouble.

[And Balthier can't resist the opportunity to show off.

He focuses for a moment and the air blurs and suddenly it's much colder in the stables.

Rising, materializing from the mist, is a great creature, a blue woman bound to some kind of device. As Balthier fires his gun, she gets to work putting the Hol Horse on ice and healing whatever minor wounds endured]
