Waiting To Hold You
Andy sighed as he watched Alex; he looked completely miserable. Alex was sat staring at the window, watching the snow fall. He'd look peaceful if it wasn't for the sad look in his eye. With every car that drove past it was like another light went out. “He'll be home soon.” Andrew promised, he walked over to him and sat down, he sighed when he realised that he was crying.
“All the airports are closed cause of the snow.” Alex mumbled. “He wont be able to come till next week the earliest.”
“He'll find a way.” Andrew promised. Alex didn't say anything, just went back to watching the window as if it was the most captivating film in the world. Andrew wrapped an arm around him and held him close. “How about, we go and watch a film yeah? Snuggle up under the blankets?” Alex nodded his head reluctantly. Andrew took his hand and led him to the sofa. He grabbed the cover from the end of the sofa. He wrapped an arm around Alex's waist and held him tight. Alex sniffled and turned against his chest.
Andrew played with Alex's hair as they watched the film, well Andrew watched the film. Alex had fallen asleep half way through, he had cried himself into exhaustion over missing his boyfriend. They had been going out for 6 months now, and Alex was completely dependant on Michael. The past three days were Michael had been with his parents Alex had been some what of a lost puppy. Andrew thought that it was cute, but at the same time he was worried that his friends were in love with each other too deep.
Andrew felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he pulled it out quick not wanting to wake Alex. He read the message and smiled 'Am outside, open the door' Andrew called Jason he didn't want to wake Alex up just yet. Jason looked confused opened the door and grinned at Michael who was standing at the door. Jason put a finger on his lips and gestured to a sleeping Alex. Michael 'awwed' and bent down. He placed a hand against Alex's cheek and caressed him softly. “Lexxie, baby wake up.” Michael leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to Alex's pink lips.
Alex mumbled Mikes name and pushed a little forward against the kiss. Michael smiled and deepened the kiss, running his tongue over Alex's lips. “Mike?” Alex grinned when he opened his eyes. “You're...”
“Home.” Michael smiled.
“But...”
“I know, I'm here now.” Michael grinned, he picked Alex up from Andrew's side and held him tight.
“Never leave me again.” Alex whispered in his ear.
“Never going to leave your side.” Michael promised, and it was one he was easily going to keep.
