Tonight cid62 and I met a friend of mine at the Red Light Cafe in Atlanta to hear some live bluegrass music on their "Bluegrass Thursdays" and had a fine meal while there. They were really good and it was a pleasure.

Today I decided to see how high I could get. I headed for the N. GA mountains, checked the O2 and rechecked it. Climbed till the plane didn't want to climb any more. They put me in a small transport chamber and put it in their metal ship and transported me to their home planet. The sounds of the ship were very strange, like nothing I had ever heard before.

6am Halloween morning. Time to bug out of NJ -- hopefully. I hit the road with printed directions to Beautiful Newark's airport with plenty of time. I'm now at the point where the directions say "follow the signs to the airport," only there are no signs. I just got past the last of too many toll booths and the road splits three ways.

I'm stuck in the middle of New Joisey teaching security this week. Yes, they had to pay me to get me here and it's just barely worth it. It's a pretty area, the leaves are peak, and it still sucks. Newark really does stink from the refineries.

HallowCon was last weekend in Chattanooga and was wonderful.
