why is it suddenly ok, or in some cases, incouraged, to be nerdy. i remember when i was in public school, especially the middle section (6-10th grades), there was nothing worse than being uncool. you didnt want to copy everyone else but you didnt want to be too odd either ( Read more... )

not being mean or negative but some parts of this entry im confused by, like i actually want to know what youre trying to say

"i dont know her that well but im sure she rarely finds herself bored on the weekend, and at an ihop because there is nothing else for her to do."

i give you to much shit for this but seriously that is just plain refusing to find something to do, of course i enjoy just hanging out at a restuaurnt even a couple times a week but i will have surrounded that activity with more exciting and enegery involved activities

i hate to always seem like an asshole i know you think i am but i really think
you could still do all the things you do and do a lot of really crazy and exciting stuff idk im just rambling

i was actually making fun of myself already captain_emo96 May 16 2005, 22:44:55 UTC
conversation is entertainment enough for me
ive been through my lets-go-crazy-and-make-people-angry-and-even-break-the-law-sometimes days.
i think you forget that i am older than you sam.
now im not saying i know more, ive just been around longer and have grown bored of the recless childhood type stuff. im still up for the occasional adventure, but if its not possible settling on hanging out at an all night diner is fine by me.

the point of the argument is me and my group of friends who arent going to the parties are at ihop... with the other dorks.
