Captain's Log, stardate... unknown. I remain a prisoner aboard the M.S. Elegante. All that I've managed to glean is that all the passengers... all of the prisoners... have been "selected" to travel to somewhere known as the "Golden Shore". I can only hope that this journey ends soon or that Spock... and the Enterprise locate me.

[Bryn opened her eyes slowly to the sound of someone talking the hallway. Grumbling, she grabbed her pillow and stuffed over the back of her head. It did nothing to block the sound though. With a growl she flung herself out of bed, grabbed her robe and threw the door of her room open.]

People can't get sleep when they need it...goddammit...

[She padded barefoot down the hall to the man in the strange yellow shirt. There was a scowl already on her face.]

Is there a reason you're playing Discovery Channel while some of us are trying to sleep?

[Kirk turned on his heel to see Bryn. He flashed her a winning smile and lowered the communicator for a moment.]

Forgive me, miss. I'm... merely trying to keep an audio record for myself or anyone else who might be interested. I didn't mean to... wake you.

[His stance, smile, and whole attitude practically scream of someone who is incredibly confident in his own abilities.[

[Bryn stared at him groggily, not even realizing she was blushing at the smile, and sighed. She shifted her weight to the other foot.]

Right well...not all of us keep regular sleep schedules, y'know?

[She looked the man up and down, brows furrowed. He looked like crew but...not of this ship.]

New passenger?

[Kirk nodded and extended his hand for the traditional hand-shake, smile still on his face.]

My apologies. I'll make sure it... doesn't happen again.

[Another nod.]

Why... yes. I'm Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise.

The next deck is a giant field of flowers, once you get through the luggage.

[She's currently loling to herself because she finds his dramaticness hilarious]
