Hey, it wouldn't be self-indulgent if I double-checked my references ;) This post was about something that I had been mulling over for a while and thought I saw confirmed in first two paragraphs of your article. Oh well!

I'm glad you replied, because I'm really starting to like this idea of Web 2.0 as community instead of content, and to see other people thinking similar things has me jazzed. Remember how Web 1.0 was going to foster community?

Gah, too interesting, too much to write. Enjoy your coffee ;)

I also like that reddit only shows the poster's 1-line title, rather than digg's more verbose title+summary format. I can see 21 reddit links on the same page as 5 digg links.

Damn, I should check wether I can change the formatting before I post this article. I don't want another "fact-check" response ;)

"they inferred too much from the assumptions."
ass-u-me!

"Not without knowing something about the voters, and I think that gets to the root of the issue."

Maybe this is where a concept like Identity 2.0** comes in ... a way to actually know who the voters / updaters / writers / commentators etc. are. Er, quickly and easily and summarizably.

I thought I'd post this comment, so that the hanging note would not end up haunting you, gentle reader.
