For those of you living in a cave, or on the moon, the KU Jayhawks beat the KSU Wildcats in football on our home turf. KSU's offense was not attending the game. KU's defense played beautifully. Hmmm, while you are right on some things, I'm going to have to step in here matt, my Crimson and Blue pride is compelling me here. Alright, first of all, I had some friends that went to the game, and they told me about NUMEROUS instances where they were just sitting there, minding their own business, and were assaulted with insults from K-State fans. Douchebags come in all colors.
Now, probably, most of the people who give us a bad name come from a wonderful little place called Johnson County. The frat population at KU is really out of control, and I highly despise most everybody and everything from kansas city. That unsportsman like, and really in general repulsive behavior is NOT something that you should categorize with KU, and DEFINITELY does NOT represent us as a school, or as a whole. So please, hate Johnson County, hate the Frat Guys, hate the douchebags, hate the people who do this bullshit, but don't hate the school, or the teams themselves. (or me!) :)

Sorry Paul, but I'm sticking with this one, regardless of how closed-minded it sounds. I'm sorry for your friends, but insults are not broken bottles (that doesn't justify them, but there is a difference). I live with several of these "frat guys" (and probably qualify as one by now), several from Johnson county, and they would not throw broken bottles or make girls cry because they were wearing a blue shirt. Besides, this "blame-it-on-the-rich-kids" classist B.S. doesn't fly with me. Johnson County is not a breeding ground for assholes. I know more assholes from Council Grove than JoCo ( ... )

well, you make some points Matt, but still, remember we are a school of 26,000 students, your experiences probably stem from a small percentage of our student population, so be mindful, that's all I'm saying. (we're not all that bad ;) )

And I agree with Paul somewhat; doucebags do come in all colors. KSU fans are probably just as bad. Of course around here, every KU student has the point of view that KSU students are the biggest jerks ever, I'm sure it's the same from your standpoint.

And there's much more to it than just the stupid frat jerks. It's the whole mob mentality thing; when a group of stupid people get together they get all retard strong and feel like they have to put people "in their place". It's so horribly sad, it's just a game. Calm the fuck down.
