So some of you may be wondering what is the deal with my new icon, well I suppose it deserves a special post, since it has quite a bit of significance in the history of our world
( Read more... )
My icon comes not from Byzantium but from Tennissee where my family (Mom, Dad, and both sisters) were driving back to our cabin for Easter when we saw the Giant Taco from Taco Bell (c) and they all said I had to get a picture with it...since at the time I was a Taco Bell fan. Of course as you can see I am laughing.
I was wearing at the time my "tight light blue jeans" and my "what the fuck kind of collared shirt is that" which symbolizes 1990s and my style.
mikey ancientword's pretty cool eh? it might just be me, but methinks the double headed eagle's more familiar as a symbol of byzantium than as a symbol of russia's tsars. maybe i know it as both and just think of it as byzantine because it's your icon. who knows.
i assume that's a joke. just in case, and mainly for other folks (didn't we have this talk before anyway?), palaios = ancient, logos = word (among other things), palaiologos = ancientword
