Would this 30 second character you're talking about be Greed or Kimblee? Both of them interest me a lot.
And yes, god that episode was awesome...two new characters (If you count Kimblee as new), return of you-know-who, Scar flashbacks...it seems they packed half a series worth of plot twists into that one episode. Pure nerdgasm.
Nerdgasm... I like that. Similar to but more naughty than Nerdvana.
I was talking about Kimblee. Although the connection between him and Greed really interests me- they seemed to be released at the same time. I'd also like to know more about Kimblee's tattoos.
Speaking of tattoos, the markings on Scar's brother's back was the same as on the floor in the final scene. Very interesting...
As for feeling better- I am enjoying my bad mood. I'm perverse that way. *grin*

And I don't really think there is a connection between Kimblee and Greed's releases. It seems Greed was released by accident (or maybe on purpose) by the explosion that Barry caused. Meanwhile Kimblee was just in a normal prison and was released because (I assume) Envy masquerading as Basque Gran wants all the prisoners for something. If you recall the two prison guards were talking about taking all prisoners out, and Lust and Gluttony were speaking of how they'd have to wait for Envy to bring them something (prisoners.)
Though of course, this does mean that we have two (or four if Tucker and Barry count) more baddies running around. Exciting.
And whoa O_O;;...I didn't notice that thing about the symbol at all...interesting.
