So... I once thought I was cool because I had all of my document files and music on a separate partition of my hard drive... What I failed to realize was that if that hard drive went bad for any reason at all, I was still fucked. I am now using the other hard drive I had, which was blank except for my linux installation, but I've lost lots and lots ( Read more... )

i only have 40 gigs of space and 20 of that is music...

I should really really back up. I have close to 150 gigs that has never been backed up and it's just itchin' to go....It's on 2 hard drives and I guess I could loose one of the drives because it's mostly pirated apps and music...but still it's a ripped music collection of over 300 cds.... that would suck...Time to back up to a 45 gig hard drive tonight...
