OMG, SOOOOO happy to hear that you've arrived safely. Go ahead and book your trip to Paris without concern for me. My own vacation has been pushed out to December (work sucks). Yes, December. Fortunately, I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I'm used to dark weather and rain in the fall/winter. London & Edinburgh will be Portland, Oregon (where I live) with accents.

Do you plan to go back to Canada for holidays? If so, when do you leave? Tentative vacation dates are 12/10-12/21.

haha, you'd be used to london all the time, then. we've had about six sunny days since i've been here, otherwise they've been overcast or downright stormy. coming from toronto, where it was 30 degrees daily to this has been a big difference, let me tell you! cardigans every day? seriously?

It's 30 degrees Celsius (remember us Americans think we're special and still deal in Fahrenheit) all the time in Toronto? That's gotta be in the summer/fall, because, if I recall, Toronto is close to Buffalo, New York, which is known for its awful winter blizzards.

Okay, December 15th. I'll definitely be around by then. Enjoy London and Paris and wherever else you jaunt to. Go to Scotland too!!

oh, you're right of course, i just meant that before i left, it had been 30+ degrees every day for a week. HOT. but it's canada. in the winter it snows buckets, especially in guelph where i am usually. way more than toronto, and it's only an hour or so away.

:) woooo. i did book tix for scotland the other day! and to go to cardiff. i'm hoping i'll get to go see a friend in southern england as well, and possibly ireland. TOO MUCH STUFF.
