I don't do this much

Jun 09, 2004 01:50

...but I think I'll write something relevant tonight in my LJ, specifically about friends. About the ones that helped me today, the ones that helped me get through tough spots in the last few weeks, ones who helped me years ago, ones who are there to at least be able to talk, train or game with. You guys fucking roxxors. I know I don't say it ( Read more... )

I thought about just writing, "You're welcome." and leaving it at that, but I think I'll go for a more serious aproach this time as well.

I'll keep it short cause I know how you hate my long away messages, so just know that the same you said about us is true for you as well.

hehe, that must be vinny! :P

Gabe: You help us through so much too so if none of us thank you for your wise advice, then thank you! Especially in my case, I'm so glad you've been such a good friend to me and helped me through our break up even though I know things got really really hard, I"m glad you found our friendship to be important enough to you to keep it going and help me through the hard times and be ever so patient with me. I'm really glad we're working through this and trying to build a friendship, I know you really care and you really are a nice guy! :D

You're still a dork though! :P

P.S. You're welcome for the dinner and the muffins I decided to make at 1 in the morning. Must be cravings or something. hehe. :D

I don't know if I'm included in this band of brotherhood you're talking about because you don't come to me a whole lot with stuff. But I want to say, anyway, that I'm extremely glad we've stayed friends through the years, no matter how close or distant. I love that I can come to you with anything and your advice is always helpful. You're an amazing friend and I don't say that enough. Thanks for everything you do. Man, we should all write for Hallmark...

Yes it includes you and Drew. We may not be as close as we used to be, but how you guys have touched my life and the moments we shared in the past are just as much a part of who I am today. Do I expect to be best friends of everyone for the rest of our lives? No, we each have our own lives and some of them are destined to drift apart. However, the great times we had will be engrained in the past and in our lives regardless.

If ANYONE is writing for hallmark... lol blackholeson7 June 9 2004, 18:36:58 UTC
Yeah man, you rock. I could have just as easily called you to say thanks/your welcome, but this is more fun and less likely to make people question my sexual orientation. Regardless, you've always been a great friend, especially when it counted the most. You listened and understood when I was at one of the lowest points of my life, and you are still here at the highest point :) *raises glass* Here's to you, Grand Master G Funk.

That's not exactly a common typo...
Therefore it must hold true that I did not in fact mean something other than what I typed. Thanks for asking though :-P

HAWW!! Pussy!!

But seriously, I feel the same way, dude. You were like . . . the only visitor I really got when I had cancer. Everyone else just wanted to be friends with me because apparently, having cancer was 'cool.'

"OMG!! ANDREWS BACK!! WOAH! HE'S BALD?! THATS SO COOL! I want to have cancer and nearly die too, so I can be bald! RAWK AWN ( ... )

Hey, man, you should give yourself more credit! You are a good guy (very rare) and I'm learning you are a good friend too. I am glad that you (among others) have become part of my college, and hopefully life, experience. I've had some crappy friends in the past, and those friendships have dissolved into nothing, but I really and truly hope that my friendship with you and the rest of the 'gang' stays vibrant for a long time. You are very generous, easy-going and just plain nice. You always know how to make someone laugh, and it is obvious that you love to see people smile. So, um, I guess this is just one big, long-winded, "right back atcha, dude."

Don't worry about me Beatrice, I give myself plenty of credit. Especially regarding my skills in video games, friendly demeanor, near mastery of fish keeping, excellent sense of smell, my cute butt, my farts that smell like fresh cinnamon rolls and my ability to suck a whole frosty through the lid.

you're sense of smell is obviously not that incredible if you think your farts smell like cinnamon rolls....
