A day off. The new store is great. I'm worried about the traffic though. Not enough people have walked through our doors. Its only the first week, so I'm sure it will get better. I'm not going to lie though. I've been really contemplating giving my old boss a call and seeing what he'll offer me. The thought of paying for my mistakes is rather scary

I totally agree with the point that you need to love what you do. In my very interesting job hunt over the past few years I keep going back to teaching because it is what I love (working with kids)...too bad that there is a very low demand for teachers right now in MI, so I've finally taken another step to looking out of state. My favorite job was definetly the lowester paying, at Storer Camps this past year. Funny how life is huh?

Well, any school would be lucky to have you MaryB. I bet you had a great time at Storer camps. I know that I did when I was a counselor there way back in high school. Best of luck with that out of state job hunt. Never give up looking.
