EMIRI! Ok so Jack has this thing for women who boss him around and refuse to put up with his bullshit (see: Gwen, Martha, Rose, Owen). Of course Emiri's a little young for him to actually be interested in her, but he does like her a lot. Sometimes it's all fatherly and condescending but most of the time it's like having a (much) younger sister who he can wisecrack at and who he's maybe kinda the littlest bit afraid of. Not that he'd ever admit it. She makes him feel young, (when she isn't making him feel REALLY old, it balances out) and I think he's pleased they worked so well together in CFUW, because being able to co-operate with people as a team is part of how Jack measures his friendships.

ALBERT! Jack empathizes Albert but would also avoid him a little because he's a Link To Jack's Past. Which of course. He isn't. And once they actually realize that, if they ever do, Albert hits enough of Jack's traumapings that he'd take the kid under his wing, as it were, and I think they could be friends.

... Owen is a girl now? |D. As for Emiri, she sees Jack as like, one of the mythical and rare "Cool Adults". 'Cause we all know Emiri thinks authority is lame and doesn't respect adults at all, but for all that Jack may think of her in a fatherly way, he's actually... not that condescending, compared to most other adults from her world that she's used to :|b. She has a little difficulty thinking of him as a "friend" because of the age difference and Emiri's never had friends more than a couple of years older than her before, but she definitely thinks of him as like a "cool gay uncle" at least subconciously, but primarily sees him as a source of entertainment because he always has something interesting to say |D. Oh Jack and your wacky adventures and anecdotes.

Also Albert and Jack should Thread Moar, if only because shared trauma is fun 8D.

skdjfhasjkghsajk KEI!!!!1 :( ok so Jack has this minor back-of-his-head worry that if Camp like, fell into a howling vortex or something and everyone died he would be the only person still around AND STILL TRAPPED BY THE BARRIER, it was more of a subconscious thing but it was why he was so so fascinated/pinged by Kei's immortality because. \o/ someone to talk to!! Someone who won't die and abandon him! I mean, his abandonment issues are mostly really subconscious, but he really liked Kei's snark and enjoyed their conversations-slash-arguments so now that he's gone Jack is like :| :| :| screw you too, Camp. I liked having someone s-m-r-t to talk to and I wanted to know mooooar about him.

Okay that was a little nonsensical but essentially, uh, Jack loev immortals? I will definitely jump you with Dexter because he is amazing & you are amaaaazing.

Robert is a mystery, which Jack likes. He was obviously friends with the Doctor, and Rose, which is sort of a reccomendation in and of itself, and why Jack will pester him for conversation even when Robert comes off as well. Creepy. But there's so much about him which pings Jack's curiosity, and I think it's fair to say that Jack likes Robert because he really wants to get him to like, properly laugh sometime. (Impossible goals, part 76.) He's smart, and a little condescending, and Jack probably would have been more :| at his, uh, Robert-ness if it wasn't for the fact that the Doctor clearly sees something in this kid.

Himawari is just socute. I don't think Jack could actually ever think the words "socute" but that's the best summary of it I can give. She's well-spoken and elegant and he enjoys being aquainted with her, but I think he figured out fairly early that even mentioning her gets Watanuki all flustered so it's better to remain safely platonic. Still, she's the kind of young woman who is perfect for complimenting and she could easily go into his "lol protective" box with Rose Tyler. (disclaimer: box is metaphorical.)
