I agree with your statement regarding the mixing of rum and Coke. However, I prefer the mixing of rum and Pepsi.

I've never tried rum and Pepsi. I'll have to try it - though not tonight :)

For some odd reason, when I was down in the Dominican Republic, I could find plenty of Coke ... but whenever they were mixing it with Rum they had Pepsi. It was cool ... There was this one catamaran in particular that I remember ... I hadn't had Pepsi for like three days and was really jonesing for som. The Rum was like a bonus ... got really trashed ... sat and chatted with this guy from New Jersey for a little while. It was fun.
