My butt still hurts. This past weekend, the University of Arizona hosted a math conference, and I was co-organizer of one of the special sessions. In the past month, I have lost 13 pounds and 2.5 inches off my waist.

So this weekend I proved a new result. Well, not new, but a new proof. My grad advisor had said that it was a tricky result and proof was not obvious, and I found a simple algebraic proof, so I was pretty happy.
