With so many guests in town, Jim supposed he really should try to be in his office in case someone needed to talk to him about their children.

Yeah, he was about as thrilled at this as the students in his class were.

He just hoped people would have visited everyone yesterday and forgotten to today. Such a caring teacher.

"Professor Kirk?" After the brunch, Amanda had decided to track down Spock's last teacher, and smiled hopefully from the doorway. "I do have the right office, don't I?"

"Professor makes me feel old," Jim replied, looking up at her. It was probably for the best that he'd never actually seen Spock's mother, you know. "Call me Jim."

"Hello, Jim." Amanda's smile widened. "Call me Amanda. Amanda Grayson. Spock's mother."
