This is the simplest of all answers. Because God is angry with you. For you did not listen but to your desires and fulfillment of your ego (pride, money, to make a point, to win, etc) and went away from God's Truth, which is to believe in Him. You say you did, but really? Then what is the Point of His Truth when He says, 'I, your Lord God; All Command on Earth is from Me'?
