I just wanted to say....HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! That Lost season finale seriously put every other season finale to shame. Fuck Heroes, fuck 24, fuck anything else out there. That whole two hours put them all to shame. I cannot say how many times my jaw literally dropped throughout it. And the funniest thing? My dad called the HUGE plot

I unfortunately missed the first hour of it, because I was hanging out and stupidly didn't realize the season finale was that night and that it started at 9. -.- but apparantly I didn't miss much since my parents filled me in on what happened in less than 1 minute. and I'm still mad at them for not calling to remind me that it was on. grrr.

I totally called the twist ending as well. but not as early as your father.

Luckily, yeah, not much major and none of the badass stuff happened in the first hour. Stuff like Hurley and his van running over new Other, Sawyer being a badass and cold-bloodedly shooting Tom after he surrendered, Charlie's idiotic death (seriously, why could he not have just, I don't know...Swum through the whole Mikhail's grenade made? Dumbass), the fact that I'm beginning to think Mikhail is immortal or something, because he's definitely died twice now and come back (first with the sonic fence, then last night with the spear to the chest) so I imagine he didn't die from that grenade, Jack's absolute badass moment when he beat the living SHIT out of Benry, and the reveal of the flashforwards. My favorite thing was something I found out afterwards. The funeral home Jack goes to in one of the flashes is called HOFF/DRAWLER. I didn't think anything of it during the show, but noted it seemed really weird. Afterwards, someone online pointed out that it's actually an anagram for, ready....flash forward. I think that's
