Sure, it doesn't work, and it never will. But I don't think the point of it is to actually translate perfectly. I use freetranslation.com (which gave the stuff at the bottom when doing English-Spanish-English) when there's a phrase I don't know in Spanish. Using it to seriously translate anything logically is just not smart; freetranslation, which is, IMO, the best translator, says specifically that it will not translate exactly, and you should use their human translator if you want them to.
