What??? Nooooooo!!!
You can't say goodbye, Nick! That's too cruel!

Do you know I haven't posted anything on the forums for more than THREE WEEKS? I still go there from time to time, to see if there's some new, original idea around (heh, I even tried to post original stuff, myself ) I just think the cosforums are having a low time, but that's all.

And, OF COURSE Dumbledore is going to DIE! There's such BIG pieces of evidence! Not just because of the 40 thing - which was a very good catch, indeed.

I don't care if you call me Audrie :) Just don't leave forever.

Sure they haven't already?

Also - of course Dumbledore will die in Book 6, but it has nothing to do with the goddam numbers!!!

??

Damn you both, you've got me curious.

What evidence is there that Dumbledore's going to get it?

It's not really evidence, more common sense. The main theme in the series is Harry's growing up, right? But he can't grow up with Dumbledore taking care of him and saving him all the time. If Harry defeats Voldemort with Dumbledore helping him all the way, it'll be pointless. He has to do it all himself. So Dumbledore has to die. All that's up for grabs is if it's book 6 or 7. I don't think it will be 7 because it won't leave enough time for Harry to both come to grips with the situation and prepare for Voldemort. After all, there is probably some special way that Harry will kill Voldemort - not just a regualar AK-like spell. Harry will have to figure out this way totally by himself, IMO, and it will certainly take a while, as in a year, to do that. So Dumbledore dies at the end of Book 6, leaves some parting words for Harry, and Book 7 is all about Harry making sense of those words, learning what he has to do, figuring out how to do it, and then actually doing it.
