i realize one year of school might be stopping you, but nothing else is stopping you from leaving when that is done. i personally think reacting against a country in general that provides you with more opportunity than you could imagine because of the despicable actions of a souless few is sad. only in this country could you take a stand against this injustice. leaving would be a fucking cop out. -ben!

If those stories check out then that's fucking disgusting. Torturing innocent people is bullshit...and children (whether they're teens or pre-teens or what have you) is even worse. If this is indeed happening...I don't see how it won't eventually come out in the American media like Abu Ghraib did. And to be honest with you, I'm still going to be skeptical about it until I see some proof (unless someone can tell me how to get a hold of that German documentary or show or whatever it was that clearly shows abused and tortued kids so I can see it for myself)

I do want to bring up a point...and it relates to imprisonement...not torture. If a kid (and by kid I mean a teenager) brandishes a gun against the Coalition forces and tries to kill them (and might even succeed) then they should indeed be put in jail with the rest of those caught doing so.

Now I'll let all you guys attack me as a right-wing heartless bastard. But I've made a point (second paragraph) and my point is good.
