"This harpy-like presence in our lives" - is it a stretch to call this presence "capitolism"? is what you call "corporate uncle" pretty similar to what i call a paradigm of economic thought that has us all tricked into believing a made up reality?

i yearn for what is real.

Ha, I am so done with the whole shitty mess I'll believe everything is real, or nothing is real, or whatever, as long as I get to do what I want. Argh. All of the smartest people Andre or I know are in situations they shouldn't be in, just because nobody cares that they actually have something to offer the world. Maybe that's not self-starter independent enough of me.

YEAH I think when it comes to that shit you just try your hardest to believe what is most aidful to your proactivity scale. So anyway, everything and nothing are firestarters and mean the same thing regardless. I mean I'll read Baudrillard til the cows come home, but at the end of the day I think you've gotta believe wholeheartedly in the reality of every human invention - whether "capitalism", "love", or duty free chocolate covered pretzels - OR ELSE you've gotta believe in the non-invented presence of a God. Both are ripe apples if you ask me.
