At 9:42 in the darkness to the south I heard a muffled sound like a gunshot.
Today, I was talking to my grandmother on the phone today and she kept saying that she wanted to 'know how to water' something. I was incredibly confused. As she talked for a while longer, i realized suddenly what she was saying-- she wanted to know how to ORDER something! Gotta love New York accents :).
I aced a Japanese test today (thanks for helping me study V!) and really am doing good in that class, despite the fact that most of my time and energy have been concentrated into the movie right now. I have been practicing outside of assignments, too. There is a JP networking website that my language partner gave me when i stayed there during the time i was snowed in up in Denton, and i've been using it to write 'entries' to practice with.
Right now, as i'm sitting here, my left arm began to itch and now has a series of bruised feeling lumps on it. Woe is me.
I really laughed so hard today that i didn't know if i was going to make it. Chris, a friend whom i'm sure i mentioned in my last post or so, met me for 2.99 pizza buffet at Pizza Garden, and for some reason while we were sitting there I said 'Omoshiroi Otenki,' in a matter of fact way. It means 'interesting weather.' I have no idea why i said it, or what posessed those words to come from my mouth, and more importantly, WHY it was so funny, but I had one of those curl-up-hold-your-stomach-squish-your-red-face-and-dont-make-noise-as-you-try-not-to-choke laughs. Then he referred to, as I had BY CHANCE mentioned one time, "WACKY WAVY INFLATABLE FLAILING ARM TUBE MEN" and at that point, I truly did die. My heart stopped and i died, right then and there.
Laughing feels wonderful.
Good luck to Shaun.
OH YEAH!!! And I made a political donation to Obama!! You know, because I have oodles of spare dollars.
