Big gigs

Going to see Muse last night at Wembley was an odd experience. I forgot how much I don't like big gigs. The sound was bad. The band looked like matchsticks and it just felt soulless!! I know that lots of people like going to these things (at £45 a ticket!!! - at least I wasn't paying) but I just can't get into them. Much prefer a small venue where

I agree, and I don't think I've been to a big gig like that since we went to Duran Duran(!) unless you count festivals. I'm seeing Asobi Seksu and Dean Wareham & Britta Philips on Tuesday at the Metro Club on Oxford Street.
