This was my 4th LA marathon (8th marathon) and they changed the course this year. There is a pretty steep uphill for the first couple of miles and then a really steep downhill for the next 4 miles or so. I think the downhill killed my legs early in the game ( Read more... )

Congrats! I'm so inspired now to keep on running. I'm not quite in the marathon-category yet, but I'm gearing up for the La Jolla Half-Marathon in late April, and my ultimate goal is to do the 2008 LA Marathon...this will mean a lot as it's my hometown, and I think it will be AWESOME to run my first marathon around where I grew up. Again, CONGRATS!
